2006 Spartan Metrostar chassis and cab, body built by Ferrara Fire Apparatus in Holden, LA. The specifications on this unit closely followed that of the two older Spartans, with a few modifications. It is a rescue-pumper equipped with hydraulic extrication equipment, airbags, basic rope rescue equipment and a custom cabinet in the cab to hold advanced life support equipment. The FoamPro system allows for utilization of foam at the touch of a button. The pumper is outfitted with a command light for night operations and a dual reel hurst generator for hydraulics. This unit operates as the primary unit on the south side of Gonzales.
